Fairfield Inn and Suites by Marriott Perimeter Center

The woman working in the breakfast area was polite, and she kept the poor breakfast selection restocked. But our one-night stay with family left plenty to complain about. The room smelled, and the carpets need replacing. The wall colors were bad, too. Water from the soda machine tasted awful, as if its filter needs cleaning or changing. At check-in, the receptionist seemed unhappy, didn’t return my greeting or make eye contact. I work in hospitality, and guests shouldn’t be welcomed that way. Professionalism needs to start at the entrance. Please train the staff better. I won’t stay here again.

For New Year’s Eve, I thought the price was reasonable. The location’s handy for restaurants and a mall, and the staff were welcoming. My room was clean, nice, and roomy. Two wall outlets need servicing, though. They seemed to go through the wall when used.

The service was friendly and breakfast was good 👍. But the room was very old and small, with old wooden furniture. One drawer kept sliding open like it was haunted. We were right by the elevator, and strange noises went on day and night. I didn’t sleep well 😟.

Devin helped sort out a problem with my reservation, and I’d stay here again. It was great value, too. The MARTA station is close by, which made taking the train to MB Stadium a breeze.
