Hyatt Place Atlanta/Perimeter Center

I stayed here for work and found the rooms very clean and quiet, with everything I needed. The staff are efficient, friendly, and down to earth. Brooke and Jamal at the front desk were exactly the kind of people you hope to find working at a hotel. Thanks to both of you for being great. It’s a good option in this part of the city, made better by its staff.

The beds were very comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was average, and the room could have been a little cleaner, but I still had a good stay. I’d come back.

I had a pleasant three-day stay. Jamal stood out in particular. Every day I saw him handling a different job, and he wore all those hats well.

I wouldn’t recommend this hotel if you may arrive outside standard business hours. I reached the right entrance at 1:30 a.m. after flying in from Los Angeles, with three heavy suitcases on a cart, but couldn’t get inside. I called the front desk several times with no answer, then tried the main hotel number and got an automated system that couldn’t help. I ran around the building to make sure I was at the right place before someone finally showed up at the desk. When I asked why nobody had answered, the staff member was hostile and dismissive instead of apologizing or helping. She acted as if my late arrival inconvenienced her personally, even though I was a paying guest who had spent a long time trying to reach the hotel I’d booked. Hotels that accept late arrivals should have a clear way to help guests at any hour. With no staff available and an automated phone system, I was left outside with my luggage in the middle of the night, and no one tried to make it right.
