The hotel accommodations were very good, but breakfast management let the stay down. There were only bowls, no plates, and the coffee cup lids didn't fit the cups. They ran out of whole milk and hard-boiled eggs, and the waffle maker wasn't working. The sausage links were dried-out husks, and the toaster wouldn't toast. Breakfast was a glaring flaw in what would otherwise have been an excellent five-star review.

Great location, with lots of good food and shops within walking distance. I had a one-bedroom suite with a kitchen, and it was a great room. The hot water was almost instant in both the sink and shower, which I really liked. Breakfast was amazing and free. Housekeeping only comes once a week, but you can ask for towels and other supplies any time.

I left two days earlier than planned and called the front desk. The Spanish-speaking woman I spoke with said it was no problem and that she'd check me out. The next day, a coworker told me someone was still in my room. When I called again, a young man said the checkout hadn't been done. He processed it then and refunded my deposit and the charge for one night. I still had to pay for the previous night because the woman hadn't checked me out.

We've stayed in worse places, though not many. The price and reviews made us feel good about choosing this hotel, but we shouldn't have. It's dark, dirty, and very dated. The furniture looks salvaged from Goodwill, the couch had food crumbs all over it, and the refrigerator was old and dirty. Dust covered the light fixtures, and the baseboards are coming off the wall. When my wife pointed out the crumbs to the front desk guy, he just handed her a sheet. No housekeeping, no apology, just a sheet to cover them. Not good. There's also constant weed smoking in and around the hotel. The parking lot always smelled of it, and the hallways did at times. If smoking weed doesn't bother you, maybe that's no big deal. It bothered me. The staff were friendly, but this doesn't feel like a 4.4 hotel. It's rated three stars for a reason, and that's generous. Be warned.
