Homewood Suites By Hilton Durango, Co

A previous guest had left an issue in our room, so the manager quickly moved us to another one. We lost a bit of sleep, but things worked out. The staff are caring and go out of their way to make a stay pleasant. The location is good, and breakfast was good too.

We were so pleased with how clean the room was. I'm Platinum IHG, but the IHG properties in Durango have poor ratings, so we chose Homewood Suites. Cleanliness is what matters most to me in a hotel room, and the front desk staff member, Alexandra, was great. We couldn't be happier with our stay. Thanks so much.

We stayed five nights and found the property consistently clean, including the room. Breakfast was decent every day, and the daily light housekeeping was taken care of. The spacious room felt inviting, and from check-in on, everything was well looked after. There were just two small snags: my room didn't have a shower cap, so I had to go downstairs to ask for one. Also, as a Hilton Honors Gold member, I wasn't given complimentary water at check-in and had to return to the desk for it.

We traveled from Texas with our three kids and our Chihuahua, Fiona. The room worked well for all five of us and our furry baby. We arrived early and paid for the previous night, and they kindly moved our luggage to our reservation room, which was ready before check-in. The kids felt safe and free here, the dog was welcomed with cuddles, and my husband and I could relax. We look forward to coming back to Colorado and choosing this as our first choice. I stress easily about cleanliness because I have OCD, but housekeeping was super awesome. The showers had no mold, the carpets were clean, and I saw no bed bugs, roaches, or ants. The toilets were spotless, with none of those urine rings in the bowl. They took out our trash regularly and brought fresh towels. Service was quick whenever we needed something, and staff greeted us with smiles and warmth. The free breakfast buffet had plenty of options, with a different layout each morning, so we didn't get bored. Everything tasted fresh. They have shampoo and conditioner, soap, lotion, a dishwasher, sink, stove, fridge, TVs, pool and hot tub, laundry room, vending machines, grills, and much more. They really love dogs. Mr Kurt and Ordell kept greeting Fiona, giving her belly rubs and talking to her whenever they could. Thank you for everything you did for us.
