The cleaning crew deserves credit. They work hard and keep the bathrooms clean, but the casino feels extremely understaffed. I spent several hours there today, and the machines were awful. I also overheard staff saying the system was having problems. The machines didn't look clean either, so I used wipes and wet napkins before touching them. There were very few waiters checking whether anyone at a machine wanted a drink or water, and that has been the case for years. I don't want to leave the fun just to get something. Please find a way to clean and disinfect the machines better. Management should spend time on the floor and understand what it takes to keep the business clean and positive for customers.

Everyone seemed to be having a good time, and the atmosphere had a real buzz. I played a few games and ended up winning more than I expected. The staff were friendly and helpful too. I had such a fun night that I'm already planning another visit. If you're after an exciting night out, I'd recommend it.

The casino felt cleaner and brighter than the other one I know, and I really appreciated that most of it is non-smoking. The table game areas seem to be non-smoking too, with smoking sections that appear to be limited to slot machines. There are self-serve complimentary drink stations around the casino. Some of the gaming area is still being renovated, which brought Winstar to mind when it was expanding. This was my first visit to Choctaw, and I was impressed. I'd previously gone to Winstar when visiting Oklahoma to gamble. From the outside, Choctaw looked impressive when I arrived, and the hotel seemed modern. The pool and other non-casino amenities looked appealing, though my main reason for coming was the casino. There are lots of food choices, from fast food to sit-down restaurants and a buffet. There's also a family gaming area with bowling and a big arcade. It's a nice option for people making a family trip, though I'm not sure I'd bring my own kids. I left impressed and think the casino has a lot of potential.

The room was nice, with a comfortable bed, TV, and refrigerator. We used Mobile Check-in before arriving, so all we had to do at the desk was show ID to get our keys. We stayed overnight after coming to Choctaw Casinos and Resorts for a Toto concert in the Choctaw Grand Theater. A lot of the gaming area was blocked off behind a plastic curtain while renovations were underway. The Link casino is still a smoking area, and walking through it a couple of times wasn't pleasant for us. We later figured out that, unless you're heading to Starbucks or Gilley’s, you can go around by the check-in desk and avoid it. Some smoke still drifts over from the Link, even though much of the casino is non-smoking. We'd have enjoyed the visit more if the whole casino were non-smoking. We had cocktails at a sit-down bar, and they were tasty and reasonably priced. There were plenty of clearly marked restrooms in the gaming areas, as well as several machines with complimentary soda. We chose dinner at Bamboo Noodle Bar and breakfast at the Grand Cafe, and enjoyed both. There were lots of restaurants to pick from. We had a nice stay and would visit Choctaw Casinos & Resorts - Durant again.

The rooms were very nice and clean, and there are things to do when you're tired of gambling. The kids can go to the arcade, movies, or bowling, and in summer the big pool is a bonus. The gaming floor could use a small carpet update. There's construction going on now, maybe they're trying to finish before the pool opens, but I'm not sure. It was a bit out of our way, but I'm glad we stopped. I liked it! The outside lights on the second floor bothered me, though they do make the place look neat, so it's a trade-off.
