Our family had a fabulous time at this weekend’s “Guinness Oktoberfest.” The crowd was lovely, the beer taps kept flowing, the food was made to order, and the music played without interruption. It was our first visit to Gavin's, and the resort’s welcoming feel really took us by surprise. We’ll definitely be back for more Gavin events!

The bartender at the downstairs bar was wonderful, friendly, and gave great service. The Irish Festival itself was a letdown: it was advertised for 1 PM on Sunday, but things didn’t really get going until around 2:30 PM, which was disappointing after we’d paid. The corned beef sandwich was tough and didn’t have much flavor either. We didn’t stay at the hotel, just bought a day pass for the event.

We’ve been bringing our family to Gavin’s for years, and it keeps delivering a wonderful time. Bernadette was accommodating, and Anne makes the best Irish Soda bread. I’m grateful for having a place where time seems to stop and families can make memories.

We rented the facility for an 80 Year old birthday party, and it was fabulous. Bernadette was a gracious, superb hostess who made everything easy. The place was clean and comfortable, and there was plenty of tasty food. All our guests had a great time.

Gavin's had a deal where you pay for 2 night and the 3rd night is free, so we took it. The Willie Lynch Band was playing Friday and Sat night’s too, and that clinched it for us.
