The internet wasn’t provided or even offered. The decor and furniture were old and dirty, the towels had stains, and the AC wasn’t working properly. Staff spoke their native language in front of customers, which felt rude to me, especially when you can’t understand what they’re saying or whether they might be talking about a customer.

The towels and washcloths looked worse than the rags I keep in my shop, and the pillowcases were stained. There was black dirt and hair on the bathroom’s wall-mounted blowdryer, which clearly hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. When I walked into the lobby, it smelled like an indian kitchen. The woman at the desk had a very strong accent and was hard to understand. Then a man came out from the back with a bit of whatever he’d been eating stuck to his shirt. The place was nasty. Stay far away.

We stayed the night of July 26, 2025 while driving across country with my niece and daughter. We needed somewhere to stay and saw a $68.91 rate, plus a pool. The pool was closed when we got there, and they said maintaining an outdoor pool was too hard. We were told there’d be a $50 hold, released after the room was checked. That $50 is still pending, and I was also charged another $50 on top of what we paid for the room. There was black mold on the shower curtain, not enough towels or washcloths for all of us to shower, and no tissues. They gave us one key for three people, two adults and one child. The room wasn’t even messy when we left. I wouldn’t recommend this place, and I’ll be talking to my bank about what I can do to get the $50 back.

Housekeeping was poor during my multi-day stay. They took away the used bathroom towels but didn’t replace them, and I had to go to the desk to ask for towels, soap, and toilet paper so I could shower and shave. The room wasn’t swept, and the sheets and covers weren’t tidied. Both the sheets and towels were discolored. The covers also had burn holes, even though my room was non-smoking. It looked like the damaged cover had been put back on the bed after the crack smokers checked out, instead of being replaced and the deposit charged. The good parts were the location right beside the Interstate and the large rooms. The beds were comfortable for me, though beds in India are much firmer than in the United States because people there are used to futon beds rather than pillow beds. My room’s refrigerator worked, I didn’t test the microwave, and the air conditioner worked well. The laminate floor was much cleaner than the usual sticky carpet mess, and the room didn’t smell moldy or musty. I wouldn’t call the hotel a total dump, but it’s definitely gone downhill over the past few years.
