The room we were given was supposed to be non-smoking, but it smelled like smoke. The toilet only flushed if you held it down for more than 20 seconds, and there were stains on the doors, walls, and couch. Sidewalks and parking lots had a lot of unfinished construction, and cheap mulch was staining the sidewalks with red dye. I wouldn’t stay here if comfort or hygiene matters to you. I wish I could give zero stars, because this place doesn’t deserve even one. We came to the cities for a wedding, and this was the worst hotel experience of my life. We asked for extra pillows and sheets for the pullout couch, but the redhead at the front desk rudely refused, saying they were “closed,” even though the site says “24/7 service available.” Around 8:45, we tried to use the pool before bed and were turned away because it was raining 30 miles away. The next day we were denied again, this time told that yesterday’s rain had made the water too acidic. They also wouldn’t give us extra towels for the kids to shower with. I’ve never had these kinds of problems at a hotel before.

The standout was the service. Remodeling was going on in the buildings around us, but there was barely any noise, and the staff did all they could to keep things comfortable and quiet. We spent a week here and really enjoyed the room and amenities. Our suite had two queen beds on the main floor and a king in the loft, plus two full bathrooms. The furnishings were modern, and the fridge and dishwasher were new. A good place for a few days of rest and relaxation.

Kayla at the front desk was great, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean, comfortable, and spacious enough for more than two people. There was a nice area to walk our dogs, too. It could work well for a long stay. The only issue for me was the cigarette smoke smell that lingered in our room.

I was a bit concerned after reading some reviews, but we were pleased with the stay overall. The full kitchen was especially useful with our two boys, who don’t always finish their meals. We could reheat food in a real oven instead of nuking it. The room was clean enough, though I didn’t trust the dishes and washed what I planned to use. One spoon had something stuck to it. There was also a small table with two chairs. The setup feels like a studio apartment with its own outside entrance. Ours was directly under the stairs to the second floor, so getting in and out felt a bit cramped. A worker entered the room even though our do not disturb magnet was on the door. My wife had come back and was in the washroom; she heard someone enter and told them she was there. When we returned, the magnet was gone. I think they may have removed it because we’d left it on the door all of the first day.

We stayed here for over a month while my family of four was moving. The rooms were a good size and worked for our needs, and it was a plus that the pool was kept clean. It was a decent place for us overall. Room cleaning wasn’t timely, and garbage was left instead of being picked up. The basketball court is in the middle of the complex; with young kids, I kept thinking a small playground would be better there. We were there in summer, which helped, since breakfast and laundry meant walking across the whole complex. Bring quarters, too. Only two of the four machines worked.
