Eagle River Inn and Resort

Nick set out a nice continental breakfast and was a great host. I also enjoyed the hot tub and the pleasantly heated pool area. My room had a kitchenette, which came in handy, and I know there are other rooms with separate bedrooms. The hotel has a fun knotty pine look. It was a very nice stay by Wisconsin/Watersmeet Lake, in a great spot not too far from downtown Eagle River.

The continental breakfast had a nice assortment of things. Nick was incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. Our room was neat and clean, as were the lobby areas.

We keep coming back to this hotel when we travel to Eagle River. The rooms are spacious and clean, and the staff are great. There’s a large pool, plus a bar and restaurant. It sits beside the Wisconsin river, with great views, and being on the edge of town makes for quiet nights. We highly recommend staying here.

I was there for five nights, and my room was cleaned only twice, even though I followed their procedure to request cleaning. They said they were short staffed, despite the hotel being clearly about 95% empty. My bathroom was disgusting, with brown stains all over the ceiling, as shown in the picture I attached. The hotel also looks tired and badly needs basic upkeep. The carpets have many visible stains, and the walls need painting. When I arrived, a woman told me they had no reservation for me, despite my stay having been fully paid and booked months earlier. This may once have been a nice hotel, but that time has passed.
