The homemade breakfast was delicious, and the restaurant felt like home as I filled up before a full day on the mountain. I was here for a ski weekend and stayed in a very clean, beautifully decorated cabin with a great view. The owners were extremely nice and accommodating to what our party needed. I’ll stay here again next time I’m up in Vermont.

This small motel is run by a lovely Polish couple. The man looks a lot like Hemingway, though perhaps with less beard. The room was spacious, clean, and classic, and they clearly pay close attention to the details. Breakfast is included and was spectacular. The owners took our orders themselves. I had pancakes with Vermont maple syrup and Polish sausage with scrambled eggs, and it was so good I ordered extra. Emerald Lake State Park is a few miles away. Canoeing there was peaceful, with emerald-green water beside us and a charming railroad right next to the lake. You can stop along the shore and hop onto a passing train.

The owners were amazing and made us feel like family. The rooms were very clean, and the place has a peaceful, homey feel. Breakfast was incredible too. I came for a workshop in the area, but I’ll come back just to visit and relax. Such a great experience, and if you’re looking around here, this is the place to go.

Jawidga and Jack, who own Marbledge, are such nice people. We always stay there when we're in Vermont. Their little cabins work really well when we travel with young kids, since there’s space for them to run around a bit without disturbing anyone. The rates are good, and breakfast is awesome.

The owners were friendly and ready to help with whatever I needed. My room was clean and well equipped for the price, but breakfast was the highlight. For a continental breakfast, it was really good. Hope I get to stay there again.
