The grounds looked lovely as we arrived, with white Adirondack chairs on the lawn and rocking chairs on the porch. I immediately wished we had wine, but Paul and Julia, our hosts, had a big collection. Blankets were available on every chair as the evening cooled, and there were fires going in both fire pits at night. We enjoyed both spots so much. Dinner was fabulous, and the scotch selection made for a nice aperitif. My only small complaint was hearing the full prix fixe menu explained when we arrived and then again with each plate. We were lucky to find the inn after another party canceled at the last minute, and we look forward to returning.

Such a beautiful little place, and the food is really good. I loved staying here and can’t wait to be back in the area. This will definitely be my place to stay again.

The amenities say the property is kid friendly, but the booking site won’t let you reserve a room if you have children. That’s distasteful and wasted my time.

It’s a beautiful, well-kept place, with excellent service and wonderful food and drinks. I’d definitely come back and recommend it to friends.

The prix fixe menu makes for a real dining experience. The inn is a peaceful, comfortable escape, and the innkeeper is helpful and knows the area well.
