The Niantic Inn

Brooke made check-in easy, even on a busy Valentine’s Saturday. She was incredibly helpful, suggesting restaurants and even looking up and writing down the number for her favorite recommendation. It was fully booked, unfortunately, but we appreciated her effort. She also helped with bags if needed, which is useful since the guest rooms are in a separate three-floor building behind the office and there's no elevator. If you have mobility concerns or heavy luggage, ask for a first-floor room. We had a spacious king room with a bright, breezy seaside feel, tasteful decor, and a very comfortable bed. The Valentine’s touches were charming: towel swans, silk rose petals, and flowers on the decorated coffee cups and tray. Wine glasses, a corkscrew, extra towels and blankets, and plenty of outlets made things comfortable. We also got a snack bag at check-in, and the office had sundries and locally sourced gifts. We loved our overnight stay at the Niantic Inn. Shops and restaurants are all an easy walk away, and the inn is quaint and welcoming. It made a great base for exploring Mystic and Niantic.

We were pleased with our stay and plan to come back. The room was clean and comfortable, and check-in went smoothly. There are lots of shops and restaurants within walking distance. Our heat went out during the stay. The staff responded quickly and loaned us a space heater when the repair didn't fix the problem.

We didn't have much time to explore Niantic, but we'd certainly return and take in more of the lovely town. The inn was perfectly located for a stroll by the water, with plenty of restaurants to choose from. My husband and I stayed one night before attending an event at the Saybrook Point Inn the next day. Check-in was seamless, and Brooke was very pleasant when we arrived. Our room was clean, spacious, and well equipped with everything we needed to be comfortable.

The hosts had thought of so many useful things, from eye masks and earplugs to extra towels and a warm welcome goodie bag. Those details really made us feel at home. Thanks for the wonderful hospitality. We loved our three-night stay at Niantic Inn and would be happy to come back. Our room was very spacious, clean, and comfortable. The bed was firm but cozy, and the mattress felt just right.
