Par A Dice Hotel Casino

The casino is on a boat over the water, with a beautiful view all around, and there are different levels to enjoy. The atmosphere is even better inside. There’s a steak restaurant and a sports bar and grill with great food and drinks. Definitely recommend it when in Peoria, IL.

It was my first time at a casino, and I had a lot of fun. I won over $500 on the slots, then lost most of it 😕. We ate at their bar, and I really liked the food. A fun time.

We’ve used Paradise Hotel for Peoria getaways before, but this stay was extremely disappointing. The room was filthy, with stained sheets, dried blood rings on the bathroom floor, a leaking toilet, shower water escaping past the glass, and dust all over. I’d already spoken with management about cleanliness, but nothing had improved. There was nowhere to park when we arrived, so my husband dropped me at the door and walked over from the casino lot. At checkout, staff were occupied talking with a bus driver, so I couldn’t ask for a receipt or discuss the room. I’ve contacted the hotel twice since then and heard nothing. I’d booked two rooms for the weekend, and both appeared fully covered by my room comps, but my card was charged $43.68. When I called, the representative charged me again, and I still haven’t received a refund for the first charge. At the front desk, the staff seemed distracted by walkie-talkies and other employees. When I raised the billing problem, the representative printed a receipt and said I’d been refunded, which hasn’t happened. We’d hoped to reschedule future reservations, but we’ll look elsewhere now. The worsening service, dirty rooms, and lack of accountability make Paradise Hotel impossible to recommend.

I travel for work and rely on hotels to at least get my packages to me. I had work deliveries sent here, but they wouldn’t release them because receiving had gone home for the day. Nobody on the property, not even the manager, could hand them over. I finish work after receiving closes. Instead of bringing packages for current guests to the front desk, they hold them where guests can’t get them. It’s ridiculous and unprofessional, and I’m really disappointed. I’ve stayed at hotels all over the country and never heard of one doing this. I’ve tried several channels to resolve it, so this is my last attempt to get my packages.
