Stay Fairfield - Fairfield Place and Fairfield Manor Bed & Breakfast

We really enjoyed John’s place. The rooms were exquisite, and the whole place felt welcoming. John even had great vegan breakfast options for us. The little extras were lovely, especially the oat milk lattes. Thanks for being such a great host, John. We'd definitely stop in again when we get the chance.

The breakfast waffles were excellent, and John was so accommodating when we checked in super late. This delightful BnB is full of all kinds of art and kick-knacks, with so much to look at. I'm glad we found it, and we'll stay here again when we're traveling through Shreveport.

I still haven't had a chance to experience the food or the inn. Last week I called about catering, and the gentleman who answered said he'd get back to me once he was at a computer. I waited but never heard back. After four unanswered calls, I went to glow alchemy for catering instead. The communication and honesty weren't there. I'd still like to experience Fairfield inn, just maybe not this year.

The bed was super comfy, and the backyard tree swing is really cool. The owner and staff took great care of us, and the owner brings his three dogs, two poodles and a dachshund, in the morning to greet guests and hang out. Breakfast was really good: quiche, sausage, grits, bacon-wrapped jalapeño, and asparagus wrapped with cheese and prosciutto. There are two coffee and tea stations, too. This historic house is in a safe neighborhood and is definitely the best place to stay in Shreveport for the money. 11/10, we'll be back!
