Holiday Inn Express & Suites Shreveport - Downtown by IHG

My fiancé and I spent three nights here for a little Valentine's weekend getaway. We felt safe the whole stay, and the location was convenient, despite what I'd read about avoiding the airport area and staying closer to Bossier. The breakfast was good, and they had snacks, cookies, and popcorn in the lobby every day. We were always greeted, and the customer service was friendly and helpful.

We travel a lot, and many hotels are just so-so, but this one really stood out. The room was huge and very clean, breakfast was fresh and plentiful, and the staff were efficient and helpful. Amazing place, definitely worth a stay. If we pass through town again, we'll be back.

The breakfast was outstanding, with a great variety, and everything was delicious, hot, and fresh. I also appreciated the fridge and microwave, and the bed was very comfortable. The room was clean, and I had a comfortable stay at the Holiday Inn Express. The bathroom showed signs of multiple repairs, with patches and missing wallpaper, and the coffee maker didn't work. A good stay overall, though the bathroom could use updates.

A large group of us stays here every September, but never again after the hotel repeatedly charged our card three times. Each time we disputed the charges, they refunded the money, then charged it back a few days later. We raised it with the manager and our credit card company and provided printed statements, but the correct amount still wasn't refunded at first. The manager was polite. We finally got the refund after four months, many phone calls, and emails.
