Beach Terrace

The view of both the pool and ocean was great, and our room was clean and spacious. They supply what you need for the beach, and breakfast was good with different choices each day. Our family had a great stay and will certainly be back when we’re in the area.

The location makes it easy to walk to shops and restaurants, and both times my husband and I have stayed, we’ve loved it. The rooms are spacious, the beds and pillows are comfortable, and the complimentary breakfast is fresh and tasty, especially the brunch-style dishes. The staff are kind and helpful. I also appreciated the sweet anniversary wish Michelle left on our door.

We had a beautiful room and a comfortable bed, with fantastic staff who went the extra mile. Our light breakfast each morning made the stay feel just right. The hotel is right on the beach, so we could sit on the balcony and watch children playing in the sand and surfers trying to catch the small waves. That was our time in Carlsbad.

Best of all was how attentive the team were. Their warm, personal service made us feel at home from arrival, and it was clear they cared about making guests feel welcome. Beach Terrace Hotel is right beside the ocean, with the beach just steps away. We fell asleep and woke up to the sound of the waves, which made for an easygoing coastal stay. The service, location, and comfortable rooms make it a standout in Carlsbad. Highly recommended.
