Motel 6 Peoria - East

The location was good, the hotel was clean, and the staff were helpful. I don’t have any real complaints. A coffee maker in the room would’ve been nice, but for the price I’d recommend staying here.

The shower was the highlight for me: it warmed up fast and had really good water pressure. Rooms are nice, and you get a mini fridge and microwave. The beds are on the firm side. Breakfast didn’t look very appealing. There was cold cereal but no milk because it smelled sour, plus hard-boiled eggs and orange or apple juice from a fountain.

For about $57 a night, this is a decent, simple place if you mainly need somewhere to sleep and relax. The staff greeted us warmly and were helpful. Our standard room had a bed, closet, desk, and TV, with a view of the parking lot. The bathroom was clean, but it was short on counter space, and I wished there were another towel rack or a hanger for clothes. Breakfast was included, though there wasn’t much: a couple of cereals, granola bars, packaged danishes, milk, coffee, tea, and a couple of juices. That seemed fair for the price.

Really bad stay. There was a chair in the tiny room, but no desk or table for working or eating, and nowhere to refill a water bottle. When I asked at the front desk, the attendant said I’d need to walk to the gas station for water. Don’t book here. Go somewhere else.
