We've stayed here before and after an international flight, and for the price it's as good as it gets. There aren't many hotels near the international terminal, and none of the others have shuttles there. Yeaser checked us in on both visits, and he's the best front desk person we've ever had at any hotel, even compared with five-star places. We travel a lot, and he helped make us loyal to Marriott. The front desk handled everything pleasantly and professionally. We also had happy hour, dinner, and breakfast, with no complaints about any of them. Everyone was friendly and helpful, and we'll definitely return.

The rooms were comfortable and clean, though a little dated compared with newer hotels. Ty and Tyler made a much bigger impression, setting such a warm, positive tone as soon as I arrived. Both were personable and professional at check-in, and their customer service felt first-class. Honestly, that surprised me for Atlanta. Their hospitality more than made up for the older rooms.

The staff were super nice and friendly, and they gave my daughter candy a few times, so I'm a bit torn about the place. But the food was gross, and they charge $18 per person for it, so that's definitely a no for me. Every night I stayed, I also got a $100 or $120 charge at 3 a.m., on top of what I'd already paid for the room that day. That seemed odd. I keep my card locked, so it only got me once.

I used to love this hotel, but I won't book it or bring my dance company back. I tried to arrange a group block for a local competition and got a direct bid of $127 a night per room for three days, for 10 rooms. When it was time for the contract, they wouldn't honor that price. Czarina DeVega told me she preferred people to book online. If I'd wanted to book online, I wouldn't have asked for a group block. I was really disappointed. Update: The prices posted on Google were lower than the ones she quoted. It seems like she's money hungry. They need to bring back the old group booking representative, who at least honored the price she'd quoted.

The bar and food were the only good parts of my training stay. I went because Jaguar Land Rover had this hotel on its recommended list, but there was no indoor pool or jacuzzi. At check-in they asked me for a $100 credit card deposit, even though my manager had paid for the room with a business card, and they charged my card too. The front desk staff seemed unsure what they were doing. They were supposed to give me JLR drink and breakfast coupons, but never did. There was noise in the hallways all the time, and the shower light bulbs didn't work. I'm never going there again.
