The rooms were nice, and breakfast was wonderful. But our room smelled of marijuana despite being designated non-smoking, and there were weed seeds in the pullout couch. The shower had no shampoo, and someone else’s shorts were under the bed. We told the kind woman at checkout about all of it.

For a short-term stay, this is a pretty decent place, close to the airport. The staff were friendly, and breakfast was great, with Belgian waffles, breakfast sandwiches, yogurt, fruit, cereal, juices, and hot oatmeal. The room had a clean kitchenette, nice bathroom, and spacious living area with a study. There’s a heated indoor pool and washer and dryer. The gym is tiny but usable, though it could use a bench.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, the facility is in great shape, and Home2s are our go2 on roadtrips. I had some trouble with the TV, and the bathroom could’ve been cleaned a little better, but I was pleased overall. The man preparing breakfast was so cheerful that his mood rubbed off on me.

I felt safe and comfortable staying alone away from home in an unfamiliar area for the first time. The hotel was clean and well kept, though I did spot some questionable bits of something on the wall by the bed, and the underside track of the shower doors needed cleaning. The bed, bathroom, and kitchenette themselves were clean. The bed was a little stiff, while the pillows were very soft. The TV swivels so it’s easy to watch from most places in the room, and the ergonomic desk chair was very comfortable, though I’m a somewhat small person. There were plenty of outlets, including two USB ports on the bedside table. Traffic nearby wasn’t too bad, and I don’t remember hearing planes from the airport. The parking lot isn’t huge, but neither is the hotel, and you need to keep your parking pass on the dash. If you need a “Pet Inside” or “Do Not Disturb” sign, ask at the front desk. DoorDash deliveries need to be picked up in the lobby, apparently for safety. The interesting and good restaurants are a ways away, though there are a few decent options nearby and two gas stations just down the road. Guests get complimentary breakfast at 6AM, about what you’d expect. The egg bites were my favorite. The oatmeal is made with water rather than milk, which I don’t like, though that’s a matter of taste. The orange juice, apple juice, and water dispenser splashes from the short glasses at the bar. The fridge has several milk options, including 2%, oat, skim, and I think 1%. Everyone I met on staff was polite and in a good mood, and the front desk was always helpful. WiFi is fast and smooth, but seems to disconnect you after a while; it’s easy to log back in. I’d reconnect before an important virtual meeting. I didn’t try gaming, but it is fiber. Netflix streaming from the Apple TV worked flawlessly.
