For a decent price and basic services, this place may suit you if you can put up with poor customer service. The rooms are generally clean, the grounds are quiet with few residents, and the gate and security officer do make it feel a little safer. But I can't praise the staff. They speak to guests in a demeaning, scolding way, as if talking to a child. I know customer service can wear you down, having worked in it myself, but treating every guest like a troublemaker or someone trying to cheat the hotel because of past guests is hard to understand. I won't get into what led to this review, since it wouldn't help my situation. The GM's replies to similar reviews also feel backhanded and don't admit any fault by the hotel. The redheaded woman was very nice, though. I'd try not to interact with the rest of the staff.

I probably wouldn't book here again unless I was trying to save every possible penny, but the night was an adventure. The price was fair for what you get, and I've stayed in places both better and worse. Most of the buildings are closed or condemned, though Building 1 is still standing. A big security fence surrounds the property, with a gatehouse and guard, which gave the place a strong escape-room feel.

My fiance and I stayed for one night while they were remodeling, and our room was still clean. The guard at the desk was kind and very helpful. It's a nice hotel for a low price, and we would stay again when traveling. Places have good and bad guests and experiences, after all.

We were really happy with our stay on July 7th. The room was clean and nice, and we liked the blue color scheme. The front desk staff were great. We didn't find an ice machine, so maybe they could add one down the road.
