Super 8 Stroudsburg

The price was right for a clean, efficient room, and the two queen beds were just right for two people. They were comfortable, with fresh new pillows. The best part of my East Stroudsburg visit was the short drive downtown to the great bars and restaurants. The front desk staff were the highlight: welcoming, friendly, and helpful. They even walked me to the room so I could see it before deciding to stay.

We stopped for one night on a road trip, and this was the nicest, cleanest Super 8 I've stayed in. The rooms looked brand new. They were well insulated too, so we couldn't hear any other guests from inside.

The location was the best thing about the place, just about 10 minutes from Camelback Ski Resort. The service was okay, but you had to walk past people smoking cigarettes at the front desk to get inside. The beds were thin and rock hard, and sleep was still awful even though we'd brought our own pillows from home. My wife said breakfast was complimentary, but it was just Frosted Flakes and a few muffins. Very disappointing, so we had to go out for breakfast. Either way, we won't be back.

A simple room with a bed, bathroom, and window, and it was clean. There's always someone at the front desk, and the service is very nice and comes with a smile. They gave me fresh towels whenever I asked. It's about a minute off the highway, so a good option if you're in the area for recreation and won't spend much time in the room.
