The breakfast was excellent, especially the made-to-order omelets, and the tavern is a nice option for dinner if you’d rather stay in. Check-in was easy and the room was clean. The pool was too cold for us to use, though. Also, once breakfast ended, they took all the hot drinks out of the lobby, so there was no coffee or tea to grab on the way out. The market sells cold drinks, but nothing hot. Come on, during Covid the coffee was always available.

We came at the last minute and were lucky to get a bed. The staff were friendly, professional, and accommodating, and it was very quiet. There’s plenty of parking, and our clean room had a comfortable bed, a clean bath, and lovely water temperature. We didn’t eat here, so I can’t comment on the food. No complaints from me, and I’ll definitely come back.

The pool heater was broken when we came for a birthday pool party, so next time we’ll call ahead. The hotel covered breakfast for all eight of us because of the heater issue, and the food was very good. Our waitress was kind and attentive. We still had a nice time using the hot tub and workout room, and everything else was fine.

For work travel, this place is decent, though I wouldn’t bring my spouse here for a date night. The lobby looks beautiful, but the rooms are dated despite being clean, with peeling wallpaper and scuffed paint. The balcony rooms let in cold air. Parking is so-so, with some spots a long walk away and limited spaces for Diamond members. I’ve stayed in worse and better places.

My balcony room was clean and nice overall, though it had a slight smoky smell. The bed was incredibly soft and comfortable. The airport is right nearby, which makes this a dream for business travelers, but there isn’t much else close by.
