Surestay By Best Western Wenatchee

The alarm clock kept flashing after we set the time. I couldn't tell if it was a clock problem or an electrical one. The king bed was a bit firm for me, but the bedding and pillows were in good repair. There were two sinks and only one small bar of soap, with dispensers attached to the wall. The room was clean and roomy, with space to move around and lots of outlets, including some at the lamp bases. The fridge was a decent size and the microwave was nice; both were very clean. The pool and hot tub are outside, and the surrounding area was very clean. The hot tub water was pretty clean for an outdoor tub, and the hallways had low lighting for the visually impaired. There's no elevator, so if you have mobility issues, request a first-floor room when booking if there's a notes or special request field. We were close to the highway, but it didn't seem noisy. The hot tub aside, we would stay again.

The room was clean when we arrived and had plenty of space. We stayed five nights. Housekeepers took out the trash a couple of times but never made the beds. The biscuits and gravy got old after day three, and it would've been nice to have breakfast options change once in a while. Still, this was definitely not the worst hotel I've stayed in.

For the price, it was a pretty good stay, and the breakfast was good aside from the little details: no ketchup, jam, or jelly. The room had no coffee maker, and for two people sharing two sinks, there was only one very small bar of soap, with no shampoo, lotion, or body wash. There weren't enough blankets either, just one thin one on the bed and no spare anywhere. I got up in the middle of the night and used two bath towels to warm up.

We were happy here, especially after having to leave a nightmare situation at another hotel in the area. We booked late at night with no notice and had no issues. The place is a bit outdated, and at the weekend rate of 180 per room for two queen beds, it felt a bit expensive, but it was a good stay.
