We left Seagrove without staying the night, and then had to pay for another hotel. The room smelled so strongly of chemicals or paint that after ten minutes inside, it was unbearable. I developed a headache, dizziness, and nausea, and the air quality seemed clearly wrong. We contacted the owners right after checking in, but they only suggested opening the windows. We tried that for over an hour, with fans running too. The smell stayed overwhelming, as if it was still coming from a freshly painted wall or the furniture. There were no other rooms available, and we didn't feel safe sleeping there. The room wasn't livable, so we left. At that point, I'd rather leave Cape Cod than stay in a room full of chemicals. After one initial response, the owners stopped answering our calls and messages and made no effort to resolve things. We hadn't stayed overnight or used the room, but they still denied our refund request. The surroundings are beautiful, but if chemical smells, paint fumes, air quality, allergies, or migraines are a concern for you, avoid this place. The way they handled it felt irresponsible and unacceptable.

We had a comfortable stay in the two-bedroom suite, which had everything we needed for a short visit. Eastham and Orleans restaurants and coffee shops were close by, and Provincetown was about a 45-minute drive away. The pool looked lovely, though the weather meant we couldn't use it. The owners, I assume, were really helpful and quick to respond. We'd be happy to come back to the Cape and stay here again.

Our upstairs king room looked out over the pool, and getting there meant climbing a kind of rounded spiral staircase. The walls are a bit thin, so we could hear the neighbors, but the cicadas at night were lovely, and we even heard an owl. Turning left onto 6 isn't much fun, but the place itself is great. Management got back to me quickly and was amazing. We were near beaches and good food, and there was a great binder full of things to do. They also had Keurig coffee pods.

The grounds had pools, grills, and lots of room to relax, and the owners were quick to respond. We were in town for a wedding and found this to be a comfortable, clean, affordable base in a central spot. The bathroom was very clean, seemed newly renovated, and had toiletries in the shower. The room also came with plenty of coffee and a machine, an iron and ironing board, wine glasses, a mini fridge, a book of local tips, and a lot of other useful things.

We love the Cape, especially Eastham, and Seagrove was a lovely place in just the right spot. Our mini vacation suite worked perfectly for my wife and me. Having a small kitchen was handy since we don't want to eat out every time. The grounds are beautifully landscaped, with a big pool. We plan on coming back next year. -Tony 2025
