Hotel Shangri-La - Santa Monica

Aidan, the night manager, made a real difference after our long trip. He helped with our bags, stayed calm and kind, and made us feel comfortable right away. Our room was on the small side, and having a dog with us can make sorting out dinner tricky, but Aidan handled it thoughtfully and without making us feel awkward. That care changed how we felt about the hotel and gave us a greater appreciation for the property. Formerly the Shangri-La, it clearly still maintains a high standard through the people running it. We’re grateful for such a warm welcome and outstanding service.

Burke on the staff helped me pull off a Valentine day surprise for my wife and was incredibly accommodating. The view was breathtaking, and the rest of the hotel had such an enchanting feel. It was a one of a kind stay and my favorite in LA. Thanks to everyone there for creating such a magical place.

Spent Saturday at the pool through resort pass and had the best time. It’s a relaxed setting, the staff were kind and helpful, and the food and cocktails were delicious. There was great live music too. Huge thanks to Jeremy, Jessy and Adis for making the day feel magical. Appreciate you gentlemen!!

A fun, historic little hotel on Ocean drive in Santa Monica. My room had a great ocean view, and the bathrooms have been remodeled. The rooftop deck and bar are awesome. It’s an easy stroll to the beach, pier, shops, and restaurants. The customer service was the biggest draw for me, they seem to have made a real effort to wow every guest.
