Viking Shores Motor Inn

The pool was clean and quiet, and the grounds felt relaxing and inviting. I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed the place. My room was clean, and it was great having a small fridge and microwave. The owner was extremely helpful and went out of his way to make my stay as good as possible. I can't wait to return, and highly recommend it. There's also an arcade and mini golf right next door, which was a nice extra.

I've been coming here for about five years. Last year, I booked before the ownership changed and learned on arrival that new owners were planning winter renovations. They've done the work, and the rooms are much nicer now, with everything new, no more musty rugs, and new A/C units. The beds are comfortable, and the pool is nice. I like having the bike trail next door, with restaurants nearby. The price for the 4th of July weekend was really good, and I was impressed they didn't jack it up. I stayed in the section by the trailers and didn't see anything wrong in that area. One thing for returning visitors to know: there's no longer a continental breakfast.

The rooms were clean, the customer service was great, and the amenities were good. As a recent visitor to Viking Shores Motor Inn, I'd recommend it and would visit again.

I went in with some doubts, but after four days and three nights, I have to say Viking Shores was a good choice. The room was clean and, most importantly, quiet. The shower had good pressure, and I was pleasantly surprised by the super-firm king mattress, which made sleeping much better. The TV was great, though the cable didn't carry NESN, so I couldn't watch the Red Sox games. The location gave us access to both Outer Cape and nearby services. Convenience stores and restaurants were close; we found breakfast spots in Wellfleet and Stop N Shop in Orleans. When we needed something, we could get it. Nauset Light and Coast Guard Beach were easy to reach, which would have been difficult from the mid-Cape. My wife and I loved spending beach days at both. The Eastham bay-side beaches were just minutes away too, giving us variety and fabulous sunsets.
