Charles was so friendly and easy to talk to. We didn’t meet Jill because she was away, but we’d gladly stay here again on a future Orcas visit. We spent two nights in the Nuthatch Room, with its quirky historic bed, and had delicious, creative three-course breakfasts. There were several kinds of tea available any time, and the cozy first-floor common area had a working fireplace. The backyard hot tub was wonderfully relaxing. Highly recommend Kangaroo House B&B.

The hot tub tucked among the trees felt magical after dark, and we also enjoyed the game room and a cup of hot tea. The property itself is beautiful, and Charles was a wonderful host. Breakfast was homemade, and the coffee was so good. We’d love to stay here again.

This was our second stay at Kangaroo House, and Jill and Charles continue to be outstanding hosts. The rooms are comfortable and tastefully decorated. Breakfast is a highlight, with fresh fruit, different egg dishes, homemade yogurt, berry crisp, and excellent coffee. The whole experience is wonderful.

Jill and Charles made us feel comfortable from the start. They were warm and hospitable, and took time to explain what was in each breakfast dish so they could check for allergies or foods we didn’t like. The meals were amazing. Our room was quiet and relaxing, and there’s a hot tub, though we didn’t get a chance to use it. We had a great experience at Kangaroo House.

Breakfast was absolutely amazing, and the room was cozy and comfortable. Charles and Jill were great hosts, friendly while still giving us space. Kangaroo House bnb is well located, within walking distance of the main town on orcas island. My wife and I will try to stay there again next time, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone planning a visit.
