Residence Inn Eau Claire

The gym is excellent, and the laundry is $1.50 per wash and $1.50 per dry. The place is quiet, clean, and spacious, with great parking and a convenient location. The decor has a nice cabin feel. Everything is modern and works. Definitely recommend.

Breakfast had plenty to choose from, including eggs, bacon, turkey sausage, and lots of comforting carbs. My daughters and I booked online while heading home to Illinois, and the front desk rep greeted us warmly at check-in. It was a nice change from the hotel we’d stayed at two nights before. We got to pick our floor and chose the 4th. Our room was immaculate, and the hallways were spotless. The AC worked well and there was no musty smell. The bathroom had loads of counter space for three women’s toiletries, the beds were heavenly, and the towels smelled freshly laundered and bleached just how I like them. We’ll definitely stay here again.

I was here for a month on a business trip and was happy with about 90% of things. Housekeeping was fabulous. The front desk staff seemed to be around mostly in the morning during breakfast, which left a lot to be desired. I travel to a new hotel every three weeks and usually stay at a Residence Inn, and this was one of the worst breakfast setups I’ve seen.

The studio was spotless and gave me room to spread out, with a useful kitchen plus places to sit and work, like the couch and counter stools. I stayed several nights a few months ago and had a great time. The staff were friendly and available, and the whole building stayed so quiet that I never heard anyone, even with the parking lot fairly full. The bed was quite firm, and the shower was more like a misty spray, so those could be better. Still, the good outweighed those issues, and I’d be glad to come back.
