I wouldn't return to this location, and I'd advise against staying on the sixth floor. I can't tell whether professional cleaners were actually brought in. The General Manager didn't offer a refund, but asked me to call back. I was still very distressed by the situation and chose not to respond. I travel frequently and value transparency, so I want to share what happened. In November 2025, I hosted an event here and was first assigned room 612. I had to move because of a bed bug issue. Even after changing rooms, I was extremely upset and couldn't sleep easily because I was afraid of taking pests home to my family. I contacted management urgently and suggested they stop booking room 612, or even the whole sixth floor, until the issue was resolved. I also asked for a refund. Other reviews make it seem like I may not be the only person who has encountered this, and it was unfortunate to be put in that same problematic room. I received an email acknowledging “prior concerns” about the room and saying they planned professional treatment.

The shower can let water escape, so if you're using one with a curtain instead of a glass door, keep anything that could get wet off the floor. A smaller issue is that the bedrooms in the spacious 2-bedroom suite are separated by sliding doors that don't lock or latch. The architecture and decor are extremely appealing.

The room was decent, clean and solid, with a nice view. The coffee shop downstairs was a bright spot too. I picked up coffee in the morning and it was genuinely good. Still, given the overall cost, it was disappointing that breakfast wasn't included. The problem started at check-in. The receptionist made an unnecessary, rude remark: “I assume you want the cheapest option.” I'd just finished a long day at my blue-collar job and was exhausted. The hotel is downtown near a visible homeless population, but I absolutely wasn't homeless, and the assumption felt disrespectful and unprofessional. I told her price wasn't my concern, I just wanted a king-size bed. She seemed caught off guard, which made the first impression even worse. During the stay I saw only around five homeless individuals, much fewer than I expected for the area. The staff insisted I park in a “special area” to keep my car from being broken into, which didn't make me feel at ease. The judgmental attitude at check-in and lack of professionalism overshadowed the room and coffee. I wouldn't stay again or recommend it unless customer service and guest relations improve significantly.

Don't be fooled by the hotel name, this place isn't fancy or special. There aren't any luxuries, no pool or hot tub, and not even a continental breakfast. There's nothing here that feels luxurious or even like a 3-star hotel.
