Harbor View Hotel

The property is beautiful in winter, and my room was spotless. We came down hoping to have brunch because we’d loved dinner at the restaurant the night before. The receptionist said there wasn’t brunch that day and suggested nearby places, so we settled on a diner. When we came back, the restaurant door was open, and she apologized and told us brunch was being served after all. The front desk help wasn’t great, but otherwise it’s a lovely place to stay.

Dining was a highlight, from breakfast through dinner. The food felt special, with fresh ingredients and a menu that kept impressing us, and the service was attentive without hovering. Harbor View Hotel’s location is hard to beat, just a five-minute walk to downtown Edgartown, with a complimentary shuttle if you’d rather ride. The views are stunning, especially at sunrise and sunset. Rooms were clean and comfortable, though I expected a little more given the rest of the property, and the stay is definitely pricey. I’d give it 4.8 out of 5, a near-perfect Vineyard visit and one of the island’s best places to stay.

I especially love Harbor View Hotel for weddings and events on the island. It has that classic Martha’s Vineyard charm, gorgeous harbor views, and a front porch that seems to look good in any light. The place feels historic and coastal, but never stuffy, and it’s one of my favorite spots in Edgartown when you want somewhere that feels special.

Chloe and Tyrone made our honeymoon unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, they were welcoming, kind, genuine, and incredibly accommodating, always going out of their way to make things right. The property is stunning, the service is top-notch, and the atmosphere was wonderfully relaxing and romantic. Big ups to the whole team, especially Chloe and Tyrone. Mahalo and much love from Maui 🌺
