Carters Motel and Mobile Home Village

We chose this place for Jan 6 through 8, 2025 because it was $80 a night and had an average Travelocity rating of 8.0. The room turned out tiny and dirty, with almost nowhere to put our luggage. The bathroom was tiny and disgusting, and moisture seemed to linger. The toilet seat, floors, and shower were always wet.

The pool was nice and well maintained, and the staff were super helpful and friendly. We spent the weekend here, and the rooms were simple, clean, and well kept. I’d definitely stay again. Only thing I wished they had was a full-length mirror. 😊

The pool area and rooms are lovely, and it’s such a quaint, quiet, wonderful place to stay. The husband-and-wife staff are amazing. I didn’t want to get their names wrong, lol. We come here every time we go fishing now, and we’ve already booked for my husband’s 65th. Dora and Walter Cole will see you in August!

I spent my vacation at the beach all day, eating out, then coming back to crash, and this place was just right for that. The room had what I needed for three nights and was clean for sleeping and getting ready. It’s a little cramped for parking, but the staff were very friendly, the pool was nice, and the price was reasonable. If you plan to spend most of your time at the motel, you might want to upgrade. I liked it and would stay again. Thanks to the staff for a nice visit.
