Homewood Suites by Hilton Edina Minneapolis

The restaurants and mall nearby were a plus, but the rest of this stay was awful. The sheets on our bed had hair and stains, and staff were rude when I asked for replacements. I put in a request for extra towels and sheets and also asked the man at the desk, but nothing came. Around 10 pm we finally got sheets, and they were flat sheets in the wrong size. We didn't get sheets that fit the bed until the next day. My girlfriend and I spent almost $100 on cleaning supplies just to feel somewhat comfortable. Afterward I contacted both customer service and management. For all the trouble that weekend, I was basically offered a 10% off coupon and told the issue was resolved. Hilton didn't address it either, just gave me points, not even enough for one night. I won't recommend this location, or stay at a Hilton again. Stay away from this Homewood unless you don't mind being disrespected and feeling like your stay doesn't matter, or sleeping with someone else's hair, including pubic hair. Disgusting.

We chose Homewood Suites because we're Hilton Honors members and had heard Edina was a nice place to stay. We visited twice, staying 7-8 days each time, and never got housekeeping on either visit. A manager twice assured us the room would be serviced, but it still wasn't. We had to fetch towels, Kleenex, and trash bags from the front desk, then take out our own garbage. I paid for a hotel while on vacation and shouldn't have had to do my own housekeeping. Please don't spend your time, money, or vacation here. Homewood Suites in Edina, Minnesota was a complete letdown and felt like a fraud.

We appreciated that staff could accommodate our request for a room above the first floor, and the locked entrance, which requires a key at all times, felt like a good safety feature. It's easy to reach the highway and a reasonable drive to Mall of America. My husband and son enjoyed the breakfast each day. The one problem was that the pullout bed had no linens or pillows.

I liked the quiet rooms, comfortable bed, and roomy kitchen and sitting area. The place was clean and comfortable, and it’s well maintained. Staff were quick to respond and paid attention to the little things. I’ll stay here again next time I’m in Minneapolis.
