Such a cozy, clean place. The hosts were warm and welcoming, and made our stay feel comfortable and pleasant. Wonderful spot, highly recommend! 🔥🔥

The tenants were caring and lovely, and the location is great. If you’re stopping in Edmonds, I’d definitely recommend going there!

I wouldn’t recommend this house for women traveling alone or with kids like me. It has permanent rooms for long-term tenants as well as nightly rentals. As my daughter and I were leaving through the front door, one tenant, Jerry, came toward me wearing only shorts and no shirt. He insisted we couldn’t use the front door and had to go out the back. He came so close that I had to step backward, with no regard for my personal space. It’s a nice house in a good location, but the business felt very unprofessional. We arrived late, and there were no check-in or checkout instructions. The owners were out of town, but communication was good and we managed to get in. At checkout there were no cleaning products, but we did our best to tidy up, taking out the garbage, wiping what we could, and washing utensils for the next renters. We’d stayed one night, and the place had been slept in but wasn’t in bad shape. An hour later, the owner called to say we’d trashed the place and that I’d better return to clean or he’d call the police. This was the same owner who was out of town. I calmed him down and got him to take another look, and he apologized for reacting wrongly. Even so, the whole experience left a bad taste. The water views aren’t visible from inside the rooms, and walking to the ocean takes 25 minutes over lots of hills. There’s only a small shower, with low water pressure, and the shared renters’ bathtub down the hall was very dirty.

We only needed a room for a quick night while passing through, and it had everything we needed. The room was lovely, comfortable, and homey, with shared facilities in a beautiful residential area. From the balcony we could see the Pacific. The host was wonderful and helpful, and told us, “Make yourself at home.” There was gated parking, and we liked it much more than a basic hotel.
