Edna Star Motel & Laundry

My washing machine broke, so I came here. Amy, I think that was her name, was working and was really friendly. She showed me where the soap goes and helped with other things. The place was clean and smelled nice, and she was always busy cleaning. The bathrooms were very clean, and there’s a vending machine for drinks and snacks. I’ll definitely be back.

We needed to use dryers while waiting for a part for ours. The facility was very clean, with huge, nice Speed Queen dryers, big tables for folding, and rolling laundry baskets. The prices were very reasonable, and there are restrooms and a snack machine. We’ll come back if we need to.

The staff were great, but the room needs better cleaning. It’s a pretty bare-bones motel, and a king-size bed cost $70 a night. The tub didn’t drain properly, and I heard the same problem affected a few other rooms. I found a few stray hairs on the sheets, though they smelled freshly washed.

I only come here to do laundry, so I can’t rate the motel rooms. It’s a great place to get laundry done quickly and efficiently, and it’s close to home and easy to use. I’d recommend it without hesitation. My two complaints: the vending machines are almost always nearly empty, and I wish the washateria stayed open 24 hours. I finish work at 7:30 and would like to wash clothes before heading home, or come by late in an emergency when I need something clean for the next day. Please extend the hours.
