Ramada West Atlantic City

The location was handy, just a few minutes from the casinos, and breakfast was okay, though it could use more choices. The room was musty, the toilet was still dirty, and there were stains on the pillowcase. We switched rooms, but the second one wasn't much better. Hot water was basically absent. I ran it for more than 20 minutes and got only a little warmer than lukewarm. We stayed one night with my husband and left disappointed. The place needs updating and better maintenance.

It was quiet, even with as many guests as there were, and the location wasn't far from where we wanted to go. The room was great, though the fridge needed defrosting and the toilet could've been a little higher. We had a great stay and would come back.

Check-in was easy, and there was a nice view near my room. The room itself was spacious, clean, comfortable, and laid out well. It was relatively affordable, too, and conveniently located for getting to ACNJ and the surrounding areas. I enjoyed my stay and would definitely come back.

Police officers were patrolling the area regularly, and I saw a couple of homeless people coming from the road, but they didn't cause any harm. That was my personal experience. The hallway smelled like cigarettes, and room 117 needed a makeover. I spotted small roaches and had to put a cup in a ziplock bag. It took forever to get an iron, and the one they finally brought didn't work, so I left without ironing my shirt. Around 3 am, some people came into the hallway making a lot of noise. I called the front desk, but they did nothing. This place wasn't quiet, clean, or well organized. Not a hit for me.
