Hampton Inn & Suites El Cajon San Diego

I've stayed here a few times on work trips and the rooms and service have always been good. What made me finally write was the front desk employee on Dec 3rd. I didn't catch her name, but she was so welcoming and took a real interest in my dog. We talked about our pets, and she found us a room away from the main hallway so people passing wouldn't bother my pup. She also carefully explained the amenities, including the pet relief areas. A colleague who arrived separately later mentioned how great she was too. We work in service, so we notice thoughtful customer care. I hope you can identify who was on shift and pass along our thanks.

We'd come back. The price was good, and breakfast was good too. Laura and Shannon got us into nice rooms, though at first we could hear people walking above us on the third floor. Shannon moved us up to the fourth, where it was quiet.

The parking situation could keep me from coming back. In N Out Burger's long drive-through line starts around 2 pm every day and blocks hotel guests from getting into the lot. Their customers also park in the hotel lot. The Hampton Inn lawyers need to tell the chieftains at In N Out Burger to reroute the line. Take down every guest's license plate and put up signs saying only registered guests can park and violators will be towed. Do it. Apart from that, this is the best Hilton property I've stayed at in a long time. General Manager Sebastian is a hands-on, welcoming host, the staff are friendly, and the rooms are clean. Best of all, there are drawers for clothes.

Sebastian, the manager, deserves a special thank you. His professionalism and hospitality really stood out, and he leads a team that cares about guests. Everyone helped make my extended stay comfortable. The staff were consistently friendly and attentive, and the continental breakfast was fresh, well organized, and a great start to the day. The hotel is clean and welcoming, and I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a well-run place.
