We stayed in a clean, comfortable two-bedroom suite, and the appliances and thermostat all worked without any problems. The location was convenient, and the staff were pleasant. The fitness room has the basics, plus a sauna, and parking is free. The hotel shares a lobby with the Comfort Inn across the parking lot. Breakfast is free from 4am-10am, which is a great long window.

There are plenty of shops and places to eat within walking distance. The bar below the rooms works as a decent hangout if you’re into that, and the giant outdoor Jenga is fun. My room on the 3rd floor smelled musty, but they’ll work with you if you ask to switch rooms. The reception staff were pleasant, and breakfast is included, though most of the food is prepared ahead of time. Sandra is a great chef, and her green salsa is some of the best I’ve had in 40 years.

Valerie set me up with a suit, a bottle of water, and even an oatmeal raisin cookie. The front desk is really helpful. The place feels pretty fancy and is very clean, and breakfast is good too. The banana nut waffle station is delicious!

The room was dirty and worn. The heater wasn’t on when we arrived, and the room was 50 degrees. It never warmed up and was still cold in the morning. The couch had nasty stains, and the old walls need a lot of work. None of the windows locked because they were broken, so I didn’t feel safe. There’s a bar in the lobby with loud music, so I wouldn’t recommend this place for kids. I’ll never stay here again.
