I was in town for a friend's surprise 60th birthday on the 11th, and this was a handy place to stay, just a little over 10 minutes from their house. That meant they didn't have to rearrange the household for a guest. I checked in late on Friday and left late on Sunday, which the staff kindly allowed. Everyone was friendly, especially during that late check-in. My first-floor room was spacious and clean, with a king bed all to myself and a sliding door that opened onto a patio area near the lobby and pool. It was quiet except for the AC, which sounded a bit like my dad's dishwasher when its fan kicked on. The steady noise was enough white noise that I still slept pretty well, and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast had tasty hot and cold options. I didn't have time to use the pool this trip, but I'll try to next time. I'd happily come back and recommend it.

The staff were very nice and the place was clean, but this was a disappointing trip. The elevator was out for the whole week. We chose a lower floor instead of the fourth floor we'd been assigned, and all week we heard thumping from the floor above past midnight, along with a loud hum that came and went from somewhere we couldn't figure out. We usually stay here in the Town center in El Dorado Hills because it's pretty and convenient, so this stay was a letdown.

The elevator being out is the only thing keeping this from five stars. They called ahead to let us know and offered extra points toward a future stay. Everything else was great: the hotel was super clean, the beds were comfy, breakfast was good, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Josh at reception even let me email him a file so he could print it.

The hotel has great amenities, and the whole staff was accommodating and phenomenal. Jenna and Josh were especially helpful when assisting us at the counter. I'm looking forward to coming back.

The room was comfortable and really nice, and the fitness center had decent equipment. I was pleasantly surprised by how many nice places were around the hotel. I'd like to stay here again.
