Tentrr - Blooming Hill Farm

The bread pudding and brownie made a great finish. The brownie came with light coconut gelato that had just the right coconut flavor, and the bread pudding topped with strawberry rhubarb and vanilla gelato was phenomenal. We couldn't finish most of the meal, apart from the burrata, because the flavors were so good. My daughter and I tried this place for the first time last night, 4/11. We like good food and this was our first farm-to-table dinner. We shared everything. Amanda was a wonderful waitress, relaxed and fun, with great energy. She answered all my many questions, offered her honest opinion, and was very helpful. We shared a Catapilla drink, which was delicious and neither too strong nor too sweet. For starters we had burrata and meatballs, both fabulous, plus sourdough and Foccaccia. The bread was great by itself, and even better with the burrata all together in one bite. Our sides were fingerling potatoes, glazed carrots, and bacon. The potatoes were crunchy and tasty, though they could have used a little more flavor; the leftover meatball sauce helped. The bacon was amazing, I could have eaten the whole plate, but didn't. The carrots looked good, but the puree underneath was too spicy for us and we didn't like the flavors. Amanda listened to us and took them off the bill without me asking, which says a lot. For mains, we got Lumache bolognese and the smashburger, and both were so delicious. We're planning to come back for brunch. It was a fun night, and the stars were out when we left.

Chris (chief) turned what could have been a wasted trip into a day we won't forget. We hadn't seen the notice that the restaurant was closed because of the weather, and we'd come all the way from the city. He said he felt bad we'd made the trip for nothing and offered to cook for us. In the empty hall, he turned on the lights and put on music just for us. He brought pastries from a local bakery, winter hash, egg purgatory, french toast bread pudding, and espresso shots. Everything was delicious, truly good enough to lick the plates. It felt like we'd rented the whole place and had a private chief cooking and serving for us. He wouldn't take any money and said he was happy he'd made our holiday. He really did. We both felt his generosity and passion for making customers happy, and it even made us think about whether we'd given anyone an experience like that this year. Thank you so much, Chris. We'll remember this.

We drove down from the Albany area for Valentine's Day brunch and will make the trip again. The minestrone was amazing, my boyfriend loved his burger, and the biscuits with jam were incredible. The service and atmosphere were 5+++ stars. Such a lovely brunch!

I had a burrata salad so good that I've been trying to recreate it for months. The farm is a bit of a distance, so making a reservation is a good idea. Service was a little spotty, but it was very busy. I was short on time and didn't get to explore much, though I'd like to come back whenever I can. Highly recommend. I'd rate it 4.9.
