Eunice Plaza Motel

The staff are amazingly friendly and helpful, and when I'm in the area I'll absolutely stay here again. The room was impeccably clean, with clean carpet and solid, working furniture that all matched, even though it's old and very worn. The couch was full-sized, comfy, and well broken in, unlike the stiff ones you usually get. It's covered with a slipcover, and I'm sure underneath it dates from the 70s. Nothing in the room is level, maybe from years of earthquakes, but it wasn't a real problem. The bed was good, though not as great as the beds at the Hilton or Best Western where I usually stay. The area seemed safe, but restaurants have limited hours except for the Golden Arches option. The Wi-Fi signal was good but kept dropping, so I used my phone as a hotspot. Given the price and location, I thought it was a good stay.

The place is quiet even though it's beside very busy streets, and the bed and soft pillows are comfortable. The front desk and owners are always sweet and friendly, and they make conversation with you. They also give you complimentary water and treats. I stayed here in February and came back again, and I'm never disappointed. It's super affordable, and I don't mind driving 30 minutes to get where I need to go. If you're nearby or traveling, this is my go-to place. Thanks again for a great stay.

For the price, this motel exceeded my expectations. The location was handy, close to restaurants, gas stations, and local attractions. Staff were very friendly and accommodating, and check-in and checkout were smooth. My room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, with everything I needed. The bed was cozy, the AC worked perfectly, and the Wi-Fi was fast and reliable. I was pleasantly surprised by how good the stay was.

When I first called and went in person to see the rooms, I had a great conversation with the one and only manager, Esther. The next day I planned to extend my stay, not realizing I'd lit two small candles. This motel has a different protocol: rooms have to be cleaned before a stay can be extended. The man made me feel like I was trying to break the rules, as if I were a kid being scolded by my parents. Customer service matters in any business, and he didn't offer it. I won't come back or recommend it.
