We booked this place to cut down the drive to Universal Studios, hoping it would be decent for one night. The photos looked much better than the actual room, which was dirty. The bathroom door lock was visibly broken and kept sliding open while people were inside. When we politely pointed it out, the person checking us in got annoyed. We’d booked a room with a kitchen, but the stove didn’t work, so we had to throw away the eggs and other groceries we’d bought for breakfast. One upside: there’s a 24-hour food restaurant nearby.

The room was spotless and comfortable, the bathroom immaculate, and the bed really comfortable. The staff were polite and welcoming. There was a mini fridge, though a microwave would’ve been nice. For what I paid, I can’t complain. I’ve spent a lot more for a lot less.

Once again, this place got a 3.6 rating, but after having to stay here one night with my daughter, who couldn’t sleep because it was so horrible, I found it was a dump. It’s been remodeled, though, with memory foam beds and tea-and-lemon body wash, shampoo, conditioner, hand soap, and lotion built into the wall. The staff are great, friendly, and even supplied a fridge when there wasn’t one available for the floor plan I paid for. The location is handy for public transportation and a shopping center. I’d recommend it to anyone wanting a quiet, small, drama-free place to sleep.
