The room was clean, and the pillows were soft and comfortable, though the carpet in both the room and hallways is old. I arrived late last night because my flight was delayed, and the receptionist was friendly and patient. I also had to check out much later than planned after court ran long. We had notified the hotel, and when I got back, an older woman was kind about it and said the late checkout wasn’t a problem. I’d stay here again.

The hotel feels dated, and although the room and bathroom were somewhat clean, they weren’t spotless. You have to buy your own water. Breakfast was much worse than at other Holiday Inns, and just one person seemed to be handling everything, from cooking and cleaning to taking out the trash.

Check-in was a bad experience. The clerk was rude and told me, “We don’t have any baby beds.” I don’t understand why the booking form asks who’s traveling and lets you list babies, or why my preferences say we have boys under 2, if there are no cribs. She explained that the ones they had were expired and they hadn’t gotten replacements. Maybe a couple of bad reviews and survey responses will get this location to see that simply not having one isn’t a workable answer.

We were there Saturday 04/11 through 04/12. The location was great, and the rooms were clean with comfortable beds. The front desk staff at check-in and the next morning seemed annoyed and weren’t friendly. At 7:30 am breakfast was nearly gone, and employees were eating even though there wasn’t much left. Bring your own water, and don’t count on breakfast.

The bed was really comfortable and the room was good. The highway-facing room stayed noisy all night, though. Aside from that, it wasn’t bad. I’d suggest asking for a room that doesn’t face the highway.
