Days Inn by Wyndham El Reno

Breakfast was simple but good, and the staff were great. The fitness room was nice, and the room itself was great too, aside from a musty smell from the air conditioner that faded after a while. There were plenty of outlets, and the TV worked with Roku.

The bed had a dip in it, and I couldn't sleep on one side. The room also wasn't very clean, but I was exhausted and didn't want to switch rooms or deal with the rude front desk employee. I booked through booking.com and had told them I had a pet. I was quoted $61 and change, but they charged $69.99 plus $20 for the pet, almost $30 more than I was told. Before leaving the office, I asked for my money back so I could go to another hotel. The woman said she couldn't refund me because there was no manager. She couldn't explain why I'd gotten an email saying no payment was due, and gave me a receipt for only $69.99 even though I paid $99.99. None of that makes sense to me. I'll definitely be calling corporate.

The staff and housekeepers were friendly, helpful, and very polite. The walls are thick, so I never heard anyone nearby, and the AC worked well. The rooms were clean and had a TV, fridge, and microwave. The two things that bothered me were the tiny, very low toilets and the carpets, which need a professional cleaning. Walk barefoot and your feet will turn black. Still, everything else was great, and we'd stay again.

After a bad stay at a Motel 6 in a nearby town, we came here. The woman at the desk was incredibly welcoming and let us inspect the room before we paid. It looked and smelled very clean, and I checked the bathroom too because we'd had a bad bathroom and cleanliness experience at a completely different Days Inn. This bathroom was spotless. I'd absolutely recommend staying here. Bring your own hygiene and shower products, though. It's totally worth it.
