Sonesta Select Los Angeles LAX El Segundo

We booked four nights for $950, but we’re leaving and will likely lose the money. This motel is a huge disappointment. The walls are dirty, the rooms feel tiny, around 56 square feet, and there’s no real balcony, just one about two feet wide. I asked for the room to be cleaned and nobody came, so I did it myself. You can’t call it a hotel and suites when there are no suites. It’s overpriced and not worth even one night. If you think I’m making this up, book it and see. I miss Midwest living. Don’t book, you’ll regret it.

We’ve stayed here several times, and every visit has been terrific. The rooms are comfortable, the location is convenient, and Ali at the front desk always gives us a warm welcome. He’s a real asset to the property. Parking is pretty pricey, though.

Donna Mills, the General Manager, made my stay at the Sonesta in El Segundo outstanding. She went out of her way to make sure I felt heard and cared for, and was attentive to every detail while helping me at the front desk. Her warmth and professionalism made a lasting impression. Her leadership and personal touch set the tone for the whole stay. I’d gladly come back and highly recommend the hotel. Thank you, Donna, for such a wonderful experience.

The view of the pool was great, and the best part was the front desk team. Ingrid and Adamaris helped us with everything and were always smiling with everyone. Ask them if you need something. The bed was excellent, but the carpet was so dirty it urgently needs cleaning. I had to wear shoes even to go to the bathroom. The hot water in the tub took patience, and the temperature couldn’t really be set, it was either too hot or too cold.
