Hotel Winters

Beautiful building, big rooms, great bathrooms, and a good gym. It’s in a great spot close to bars, restaurants, and wine tasting. There’s free parking right behind the building, and Napa is a short drive for a day trip. Stunning hotel. Can’t believe it doesn’t get 5 stars. Highly recommend.

The restaurant didn’t open when it was supposed to, and the front desk service was horrible. I walked in carrying luggage and a baby, and nobody greeted me. I had to ask where to check in. Then I went the wrong way, got turned around while looking for the elevator, and had to ask where the elevators were before someone directed me. My husband says it’s because I’m used to the Hyatt, but for the price I expected equal service. There was absolutely no service at all.

We ate at Carboni's, the restaurant attached to the hotel, and the service and food were delicious. I also had a spa treatment there. It’s a small space, but very zen, and I’d go back. Our spacious room had comfortable bedding, and we had a wonderful visit at this charming boutique hotel. It was easy to walk to the lovely shops, Winter's Railroad Bridge, and other bars and restaurants. Looking forward to my next visit.

We never needed the car during our stay. There are two wine tasting spots a very short walk away, several restaurants nearby, and a nice path along the water. Allen was hospitable, and Issac behind the bar was fun and had great recommendations. Everything we ate at Carboni’s, the hotel restaurant, was amazing, and the wine prices were great. The place is new and clean, and the staff and service were phenomenal. As a diamond member, I found it had all the amenities of a Hilton or higher, but was much better value. What a great location.
