Travelers Inn Elizabeth City

Travelers inn has been my best stay out of the many places around Elizabeth city. The rooms are comfortable, it’s quiet, and nobody bothers you. The staff have been incredibly helpful, especially the office staff, who have helped me at all hours of the night when I lose or forget my room key. The location works well too, with stores and restaurants all around. It doesn’t have the constant chaos and trouble I’ve found at other places in the area.

The owners are here on site and work hard, which I really admire. It’s peaceful, the staff are very nice, and the clean, tidy rooms are just right for me. I haven’t had a single complaint. The place sits just outside the bush part of the city, feels safe, and has a quaint bit of nature around it. Watching the treetops move in the wind and seeing all kinds of birds and other wildlife have brought me plenty of smiles and good memories from my time here. Thanks for having me as a guest. Sabrina was great at the front desk on the night shift. The beds felt a bit firm, but the rooms were clean and well kept, and the price was excellent. If you need a place in Elizabeth City, there’s no need to keep looking.

The hotel itself is in nice condition, but the night desk employee came across kind of rude. You can tell they're trying not to be, but still. Housekeeping took our linens and brought back only half the sheets and blankets, with no towels or pillowcases, and the beds weren’t made. We told the staff about all of it. I know they tend to deny customer complaints here, so we’ll see what they say.
