Candlewood Suites Atlanta Kennesaw by IHG

I was working on a nearby project and stayed at Candlewood Suites in Kennesaw. After a long day on the job, the clean, comfortable room was exactly what I needed. One of the best suites I've stayed in, and the staff were friendly and professional. I'd recommend it if you're traveling or working in the area.

Our company has been staying here Monday through Friday for six weeks, spending a lot, and we've been treated like garbage. They don't clean the rooms at all. We were given only two towels and two rags for two grown men, and every day we had to carry the dirty ones down to the desk to get more. The short woman there was extremely rude. She handed us a bag with disgust and told us to put our things in it because she didn't want to touch them. We didn't want to haul wet towels and rags through the whole hotel. Hospitality, seriously? Not here.

Veronica, the manager, was a delight and gave me helpful recommendations for places to eat in the "new" Marietta while I was visiting. My room was clean, and I liked being able to see my vehicle from the room, with a great view of the parking lot. The property is about 500 feet farther up the road than Google Maps shows. Look for the small, unlit sign to the new Candlewood Suites at the back of "Hotel Row".

It was a little noisy being right by the highway, and I could have picked another location. The rooms were very clean and the price was fair compared with similar places. Check-in and the lobby were just ordinary.
