Americourt Hotel

We slept comfortably on the newer mattresses, which we really appreciated. When I asked for another blanket, the staff got one for us right away. Jessica was especially friendly, professional, and helpful at the front desk. We’ll stay here again when business brings us to the area or when we’re headed to North Carolina for skiing.

We were so tired that we left right away and went to another hotel. In the first room, the bed collapsed when we sat on it, and there was a bloody burger on the pillow. The second room smelled like cat urine, and the upstairs bathtub floor looked like it was about to give way. The halls reeked of smoke. This was the worst hotel I’ve ever seen. I can’t understand how it’s still open, and I wouldn’t recommend it.

Jessica went out of her way to make our stay comfortable, and she was amazing. I can’t thank her enough. If you need a comfortable place to sleep, I recommend staying here.

The halls were musty and smoky, and that was the biggest downside. Inside my room, though, it was clean and had no smell. The AC worked well, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom was clean and decent, and the location was convenient. I noticed some water damage on the wall, but there was no mold or odor, so it didn’t bother me. The building is clearly old and a little run down, but the stay was much better than I expected. The staff were lovely and very kind. As a transgender woman, I got no strange looks or judgment from them at all. They were a 10/10.
