Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Elizabethtown, KY

We slept well, and the bed was comfortable. The room was clean and breakfast did the job. I’d call the hotel above average, though it isn’t high end. We didn’t try the pool, gym, or laundry, so I can’t speak to those.

We stopped here on the way home from Tampa, and getting to it from the highway was easy. Our room was roomy and clean, and the included breakfast was enough to get us through the morning. We didn’t stay long enough to make use of the other hotel offerings.

The location was a plus, and the staff were polite, friendly, and ready to help. Our room was clean and kept up well, so we were comfortable during the stay. It’s a nice option for good service and amenities, including an indoor pool, at a reasonable price.

The replacement room didn’t look clean, and it seemed like it had been empty for a while. That came after we found a bug on the bed in our first room. We brought it to the lobby, where staff said it was a bed bug and that housekeeping would be told. I wish I could attach photos. I called as they asked, and the GM was supposed to call me back today, but I haven’t heard anything.
