A bottle of water would have been a small, easy way to welcome guests. Instead, the front desk staff were awful, with no smile or eye contact. Some hotels know how to make customers feel valued; this one doesn’t. I hope they do better in the future.

I was glad to get some rest off the highway, but at $175 and change a night, those worn-out mattresses and coffee cup stains on the nightstand were disappointing. I’ll go back to staying at Drury, where I can count on a comfortable mattress and decent breakfast.

The boiled sausage pucks were nasty, and the powdered eggs were so bad they couldn’t be eaten. Typical gross Marriott breakfast. Do better.

The roads leading there hadn’t been cleared, though that wasn’t the hotel’s fault. Inside, the rooms were spacious, and the staff were courteous and helpful. I’ll definitely return.

Nice people and a clean room. Breakfast seemed a little limited in its food choices, so I’m taking off one star. There’s free parking, plus a fitness room and pool.
